This is a hardback 1st UK edition/1st printing of James Dickey's novel Deliverance, published in 1970 and became the basis of the infamous 1972 movie adapdation of the same name, directed by John Boorman.

This copy comes with a signed letter by the author, offering to sign the book itself for postage costs (evidentally the owner did not take him up on the offer).

The dust jacket is unclipped and in a protective plastic sleeve, while the book itself is in perfect condition with no marks or blemishes throughout. [Little Lane Bookshop]
