PI Philip Marlowe is called on to find Crystal Kingsley, the wife of a wealthy businessman. An apparently straightforward case becomes far more complex when a woman’s body is pulled from a lake near the Kingsley’s remote cabin, and the man Crystal was apparently running away with is shot dead.
